The Home Depot Review & $50 Gift Card Giveaway Ends 12/11th 11:59 Midnight Central

As much as we all love Christmastime it can be stressful. Finances, traffic, long lines, you name it. For me, I try to keep a positive outlook on it and focus on what can I do to make Christmas Shopping for my family easier. I do about 75% of my Christmas Shopping online. But for some family members I have to go to the store and get ideas.

Buying for Dad is pretty simple. He is the prime example of a DIYer. So it was an easier choice on where to shop for his present. This weekend I headed over with the kids to The Home Depot. No traffic, plenty of parking spots, & the best of all…no line checkout lines!!

My children love to participate in The Home Depot’s free workshops on the first Saturday of every month. In December, the workshops are centered on holiday projects so they made Snowflake Napkin Holders. Once you complete the workshops, the children received their commemorative pins & certificates of achievement.

Once the kids were done it was off to find Dad’s gift. I was stuck between finding a gift he can use to organize this garage or workshop, a fire pit for outdoor living, or a power tool. Throughout my shopping trip, I manage to lose focus as I would continuously go back to the Christmas Holiday Decor area. I am totally in love with the Martha Stewart Collection at The Home Depot. Did I need Holiday Decor…No! But my kids were in love with the Large Snoopy Musical Snow globe. Also, I collect Village pieces and didn’t realize that The Home Depot carried their version of Holiday Lighted Village pieces. I had no choice. I had to pick up a Home Depot Store for my village. Now my little village families have the perfect place to find all their Holiday needs.

My new village piece I bought today. Every village needs The Home Depot!

I went back to tools and finally decided on a Dremel tool kit. He had one previously but had left it on the jobsite one day. I also picked up a few Holiday Decor items & a gift card. The Home Depot Gift card is perfect for someone who is always running into The Home Depot for various projects. The Home Depot also has eGift Cards & The Home Depot is the only Major Retailer that offers video messages you can personalize to be viewed by the recipient. How cool is that!?!

Want to give the gift of organization or your favorite DIYer a new project they can work on? Whether it’s an appliance or a gift card The Home Depot is a gift anyone will love.
