My 7 year old loves Curious George on PBS kids & also loves to visit PBSkids.org for more Curious George fun. I know he will want to enter this dance contest. Dancing is a great way to encourage creativity & promote fitness. After 30 mins of dancing your children will be burning calories, while having fun monkeying around.

I’ve actually seen her play at the House of Blues in New Orleans. She opened up for willie Nelson and did amazing. I have been a fan since!! Shannon is also local to New Orleans but since Hurricane Katrina is based in Mississippi. She travels with her band Hot Sauce all over the U.S.

To Attend or Not Attend?

Last Month, we had a big blog conference here in New Orleans. Of course when I found out about Mom 2.0 Summit tickets were already sold out.

Blog Conferencere are few and far between in our area, so I was really disappointed that I was not able to attend the event. But at the end of August 2011, New Orleans will be the host of #IFBC. Although #IFBC is a food blogger event, I noticed that there are many good writing/blogging sessions that would be useful to any blogger.

I am still not for sure on the event, but I’m wondering if this is something I should attend or not?

Do you think it’s something I can use for my own blog, even thought I’m not a food blogger? It’s local so a hotel would not be nessesary. It would just be a few days I would need to take off from work though.

Taylow Swift Concert

Charlotte, Sarah, and I went to the Taylor Swift concert last night!! We had such a great time. I love that Sarah enjoys music (although she enjoys it a little too loud! lol)!!!

We had a girl’s evening. We out to eat in Biloxi, went to Barnes & Nobles for an hour or so, then headed over to the concert.

On days when I’m stressed about where I have to be and by what time, evening like this make it so worthwhile!!
